A new hope meets an old nemesis

Fortune has shined on me since I last updated this page and has given me a new direction in which to focus my writing. Early in February, a short story that I wrote for a super villain anthology was accepted and in the months following sparked ideas for a series of books leading up to those events. I have all these ideas rattling around in my head, quick outlines for eight books wrote down, and even a decent start to the first book, and then an old nemesis shows back up again to hinder my progress; writers block. He seems to have teamed up with life’s main antagonist, time, and are together beating me down every time I think I have time to write.

At this time, the anthology is close to being published which got me to put the finishing touches on my website (which has next to nothing on it) and even set up an author specific Facebook page, both of which are giving me anxiety that I can only imagine every new and inspiring author goes through when first starting out. As frustrating as this seems, there is at least a small light at the end of the tunnel that I can still chase after.

I still have yet to find my ideal time of the day to write, as I would like to get into the habit of writing every day, but I am positive I will figure it out eventually.
